LIVE Workshop Invite - How To Get Schoolwork Done When You're Not Motivated

...to more easily get good grades without the procrastination, late nights, or overwhelm.

I’m hosting a live workshop on motivation this Saturday for teens and their parents for a few reasons -

1. If your teen doesn’t understand how to self-motivate, they will struggle with school.

They can have great teachers and tutors and get all of the accommodations but, if they don’t figure out the motivation piece, getting good grades will always feel harder than it should.

School will feel harder than it should. Learning will feel more miserable than it should.

When your teen understands how motivation works, when they know how to get stuff done even when they have zero motivation, the entire school experience changes.

Your teen has fewer late nights catching up on homework, less nagging from Mom/Dad, good grades come easier, more confidence and less (or no) overwhelm.

You, the parent, worry less (= more mental bandwidth), enjoy peace of mind knowing your child can be productive even when not motivated, and sleep better knowing their success doesn’t hinge on something as utterly unreliable as motivation.

2. Lack of motivation & procrastination go hand in hand.

It might seem like your teen enjoys gaming or scrolling their phone late into the night, but I can promise you - they bear the weight of the work they didn’t do.

Your teen doesn’t want to procrastinate. They don’t like the stress it creates and they don’t like fighting with you about it.

The more they learn how to become more motivated, the less they procrastinate and the better they feel about themselves.

3. You can’t fix this for your teen.

If you could, you would have already. Obviously. But you can’t give them motivation.

Sure, you can use threats or rewards, but that just creates motivation to avoid the threat or get the reward…not to actually get their work done.

Helping your teen build a foundational understanding of how motivation works is the first step to win this battle long term.

Helping them practice self-motivation, giving them the tools to prevent lack of motivation from sabotaging their grades, is what will empower them to do and feel their best in school (and life).

If any of this resonates, you don’t want to miss this workshop. I’m distilling everything I’ve learned over 15+ years of working with students who struggle with motivation, including -

  • what motivation actually is, how it works, and how to tap into it at any time (understanding this alone is a game changer for a lot of teens)

  • simple, proven routines that will help them to do their work when the motivation isn’t there (these have worked wonders for ALL learners, including kiddos with ADHD)

  • How to create momentum and feel GOOD about their ability to get stuff done regardless of whether they feel motivated

The workshop is this Saturday, May 11th, at 12pm ET. At the end, I’ll be sharing take-home resources that

✅ your teen can use to practice what they learn and see for themselves that there’s an easier way to do their work than relying on motivation

✅ you can use to support your teen as they level up and realize that “not having motivation” is irrelevant when it comes to doing their schoolwork.

Sign up here. Early bird pricing is $99 and ends tomorrow night. After that, it’s $149.

At the moment, this workshop is planned as a one-time thing. If you register but can’t make it live on Saturday, I’ll send you the recording and materials 📓
